Popcall App on Playstore
As a business owner, if your company uses a mobile number on an Android phone, our Popcall app enables you to connect this mobile line to one of our partner software solutions for live call recognition.
Using the Popcall App
To use the Popcall app, you will need credentials (ID and password) provided by Popcall after a request is made on your behalf by one of our partners.
Data Collection and Permissions
The Popcall app detects incoming calls on your Android device and sends the caller’s number to the business software you use, offering live caller recognition whether the app is on or not.
For this functionality, the app requires the following permissions:
- Manage Phone Calls: To detect and manage incoming calls.
- Access Contacts: To integrate with your contact list.
- Caller ID Display: To display the caller’s information.
Data Collected
Once permissions are granted, the Popcall app collects the following data:
- The phone number of the device using the app.
- Details of any incoming call on this device, regardless of whether the app is running or not.
Popcall collects & stores your phone number and the phone number of all your incoming calls to enable its call recognition feature. You will be asked in the app to consent to share these informations with Popcall API.
Data Usage and Storage
The collected data is stored according to your contract with our partner. Popcall acts solely as a data processor and has no rights over your data. Your data is used strictly in accordance with your contract with our partner.
In compliance with GDPR recommendations, phone numbers are anonymized after three years.
For any questions, or to request data or account deletion, please reach out through our website chat.
